Sections: MW 10-11:45am (McHenry 1257) and TTh 6-7:45pm (Eight Acad 252). Sections begin on Tuesday 01/13.

Tutoring: TBA Learning Support Services (LSS) offers course-specific tutoring. Students meet in small groups (up to 4 people per group) led by a tutor. Students are eligible for up to 1 hour of tutoring per week per course, and may sign-up for tutoring at https://eop.sa.ucsc.edu/OTSS/tutorsignup/ from January 13th at 10am to March 2nd at 5pm.
Major Qualification: This course is required to declare one or more of the majors in the Division of Physical & Biological Sciences. Your performance in this course may determine your eligibility for a science or math major. For more information on major qualification, please go to: Qualifying for a Major .
Coursework: There will be weekly homework sets, possibly quizzes (in sections), one midterm, and a final.

Homework assignments: Homework assignments will be posted on this website. Homework solutions will be collected in sections and are due the following week by the end of the second section meeting of the week (Wednesday for MW attendees, Thursday for TTh attendees). Important: All pages of each homework assignment should be stapled.
