Coursework:
There will be weekly homework sets, one midterm, and a final (Monday, June 7, 7:30-10:30pm). Weekly quizzes will be given in Wednesday and Thursday sections. The midterm is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, April 28.

Important remarks:
No credit will be given for late homework and quizzes. ``Make-up'' exams must be approved and arranged in advance. Absences from exams due to illness or personal crisis must be adequately documented. Your overall score in the course will be the best of weighted averages of your scores on homework, exams, and quizzes. Your lowest homework score will be dropped.

Homework assignments will be given in lecture and are due the following week by the end of the second section meeting of the week (Wednesday for MW attendees, Thursday for TTh attendees). Important: All pages of each homework assignment should be stapled; the name of your TA should be written on the front page.
